Leaping Dragon Walk to Big Wave Bay

Team 1: Through Leaping Dragon Walk (with uphill stairs)
  • Meeting point: Siu Sai Wan Promenade
  • Gathering time: 10am
  • Hike: From Siu Sai Wan Promenade to Big Wave Bay (Leaping Dragon Walk)
  • About 4 Km (2.5 hours)
  • Sign up by Wed Feb 7

What do we do in Big Wave Bay?

It’s free time there when we reach the beach.

  • You can eat at Big Wave Bay (at a cafe or local restaurant/stores, but not sure if it will open) or bring your own food and picnic.

  • You can enjoy your free time, walking around, taking pictures etc.
  • You are free to leave, too. The transportation leaving there is listed below.

Transportation to Siu Sai Wan

  • From Hang Fa Chuen MTR, take mini bus 62A 
  • From Chai Wan MTR Station,take bus 84M
  • Other HK Island Bus Routes 8P, 8X, 82, 85, 106, 118, 606, 694, 788, 789, etc., alight at Siu Sai Wan South Bay Peninsula Terminus.

When you leave: Transportation from Big Wave Bay

  • Red minibus to Shau Kei Wan
  • Walk to Shek O and get Bus No. 9 to Shau Kei Wan
